We know visiting all of our member wineries during a trip to wine country is a tall order, so we’ve developed our NEW Winemakers’ Selections Tasting Pass, which you are welcome to use at all of our member wineries, all year round. So, slow down, take your time and savour over 20 carefully selected terroir wines for one convenient price.

Tasting at the Wineries of Niagara-on-the-Lake is so simple with this pass. To taste the Winemaker’s Selection at each winery, simply present your printed ticket, or the digital device you’ve used to download the ticket, to the tasting bar staff so they may scan it for you.

Buy your Winemakers’ Selection Tasting Passes today for $25 per person, plus applicable taxes. Your tasting pass allows you to enjoy one tasting of a Winemaker’s Selection wine at each of the 25 Wineries of Niagara-on-the-Lake any day of the year.


  • Tasting pass holders must be 19 years of age or over to redeem wine tastings.
  • The tasting pass is valid only at the Wineries of Niagara-on-the-Lake listed below, but please note that wineries are subject to change throughout the year. Please check this page for the most up-to-date list of participating wineries.
  • Tasting pass holders will receive one tasting of a Winemaker’s Selection wine at each participating winery, and wines are also subject to change based on availability. Please check this page for the most up-to-date list of feature wines.
  • Each tasting equals one 1 fluid oz. pour of a Winemaker’s Selection wine.
  • No refunds will be given by the Wineries of Niagara-on-the-Lake and/or any other applicable vendors of the tasting pass.

2015 Cabernet 'Leon' Reserve, $35.95 (W, O)
"The 2015 Cabernet 'Leon' is a tribute to the son of Greg Wertsch, owner of Between The Lines Winery. We took the fruit of our finest Cabernet Franc vines and turned them into this stellar Niagara Red. "Aligoté is a rare vitis vinifera variety native to the Burgundy region of France. Aligoté can be a chameleon by exuberantly expressing its terroir. Our Aligoté will remind you of green apples and fresh pears on the nose while on the palate the minerality and zing of crisp acidity is mouth watering. 2016 Estate Chardonnay (W,O) $24.95 "Harvested from our unique Red Paw Vineyard, this Chardonnay spent 9 months in a combination of French and Hungarian oak barrels. Tasting Notes: Rich in varietal character with notes of honey, vanilla, ripe pear and Macintosh apple on the nose. On the palate this wine shows great concentration of flavours of classic apple and pear with supporting notes of caramel and butterscotch.”

"A very rich, crisp, yet delicate chardonnay with fresh pear and ripe yellow apple aromas. The palate has great texture with bold flavours of peaches and baked pear, hints of butterscotch, caramel and vanilla with citrus notes. Perfectly balanced with a long finish. "45% Cabernet Franc, 37% Merlot, 18% Cabernet Sauvignon. Deep ruby- purple in colour, this ripe, robust red from the hot 2012 growing season shows black cherry, cassis and stewed plum fruit character, underlined by dark chocolate, vanilla bean, nutmeg and a hint of licorice on the nose. This full-bodied palate offers firm, age-worthy tannins and a long, warm, dry finish.” Winemaker - Gavin Robertson

Andrew Peller Signature Series Ice Cuvee N/V $34.95 (W,O)
"One of our most awarded wines at the winery, this traditional sparkling wine is made with hand-picked Chardonnay and Pinot Noir grapes. When the lees are disgorged, a ‘dosage’ of Vidal Icewine is added (110ml). The bouquet of apricot and ripe apple, with hints of honey, are followed by tropical fruits on the palate and a refreshing pink grapefruit finish.” Winemaker - Katie Dickieson

2014 Bella Terra Cabernet Sauvignon (Extra Dry (0)) $39.95
(W, O) "Harvested from our oldest vineyard vines. Extensive skin contact gives this wine a glorious deep ruby colour. We Age 22 Months in French Oak which provides intense aromas of sweet pipe tobacco, black cherries, cigar box, cloves and exotic spices. Firm tannins carry dark and rich flavours of dark chocolate, fresh black currants that give way to a long, smooth velvety finish.” Winemaker - Fred DiProfio

“Our 2015 Ravine Merlot is a purple-ruby colour. The nose boasts aromas of black cherry, bourbon vanilla and pencil lead. On the palate this wine is dry with a full body and classic Merlot tannins that are soft around the edges.” Winemaker - Martin Werner


2015 Cabernet Sauvignon Reserve (W,O) $35.15
"2015 came in with some unusually and at times brutally cold weather. By April/May the weather normalized and June gave us plenty of rain. The growing season gave us hope with sunny warm weather which ran into harvest time. This allowed us to get good maturation of fruit and the silver lining of the cold winter, less fruit, which meant higher quality."

2014 Stratus White $38 (W, O)
"A complex and multi-layered white to drink tonight or cellar for a decade of development. Intensely aromatic, this is one you will go back to over and over again to peel away the layers. Big character of apple, stone fruit, gooseberry, grapefruit and pomelo intermix with hints of vegetal notes such as green lentils and then floral such as honeysuckle. All rounded out by an underlying sandalwood character. The palate is rounded and already has a plushness that will only continue to build as the wine develops." Winemaker - JL Groux


2016 Sparkler (W,O) $24
To celebrate Strewn's 20th Anniversary, we crafted our first Sparkling wine. An aromatic Sparkling Sauvignon Blanc made in the Cuvé Close method from fruit harvested from the Niagara Peninsula. Tasting Notes: Bubbly, crisp and refreshing. Aromas and flavours of citrus (lime, lemon and grapefruit), grass, flint and yeast. A crisp and refreshing finish on the palate." 2015 Estate Series Shiraz Cabernet $29.95 (W, O)
"A trendy blend of 62% Shiraz, 23% Cabernet Sauvignon and 15% Cabernet Franc. Each varietal received barrel malolactic fermentation, then nine months of oak barrel aging before the wines were blended together. The final assemblage was then put back into barrel for a further 3 months (20% of the barrels were new oak; 50% American oak and 50% French oak). Wonderful notes of juicy blue and black fruits and black tea linger on the finish.” Winemaker - Craig McDonald
