Ring in Spring in the heart of Niagara on the Lake. With a glass of sparkling wine in hand, take a hayride out to our BTL vineyard with Grower/Owner Greg Wertsch and learn about the uniqueness of its terroir.
Join President and CEO Paul A. Bosc for a walk amongst the vines that he planted in the summer of 1985. Little did we know these would be the vines that today produce our flagship red wine, Equuleus. Learn what makes this specific section of our Paul Bosc Estate Vineyard, in the St. David’s Bench sub-appellation, so special.
Walk with our winemakers through the vineyard to explore our infamous “Red Paw” “Black Paw Soil” Types. Here a discussion will occur on the macro, meso and microclimate of Coyote’s Run specific location (within the sub appellation of St. David’s Bench) and how our distinctive soils impact the wine produced.
Travel back in time as we enjoy a seven-course tasting menu inspired by our founding fathers and the food that they would traditionally harvest. With each course presented by Backhouse, enjoy wine from The Hare Wine Co., perfectly paired to compliment one another.
From frozen grapes to glass, still or sparkling, sweet or savoury, young or old – we’ve got them covered! Come join us for an interactive Icewine tasting flight paired with Estate Chef Tim Mackiddie’s culinary delights.
Join us for an unforgettable cheese and wine experience. Jackson-Triggs & Arterra Winemaker will discuss the subtleties that terroir brings to our wine. Our winemaker will compare Chardonnay and Pinot Noir from Arterra and Jackson-Triggs, detailing the flavours found in each wine and the techniques used to impart specific qualities. A representative will guide us through a tasting of Alexis de Portneuf world class cheeses, describing how the flavor compounds, acidity and textures of cheese can enhance the characteristics of wine and food.
Enjoy an epicurean experience including five courses of fine regional cuisine, each featured in a stunning location of our winery. Relax amidst striking architecture as you savour award-winning wines complemented with gourmet cuisine. This ‘progressive’ dinner takes you on a gastronomic adventure!
You’re invited to discover the gift of terrior Niagara providentially gave to Joseph’s Estate Wines. You will be examining the grape’s growing habitat (above and below ground level), childhood, and maturing through to harvesting. Once bottled you can better understand the importance of all stages to create a quality wine.
Escorted by owner and winemaking pioneer Mr. Herbert Konzelmann, guests will experience an intimate tour of Niagara’s exclusive lakefront winery. The captivating tour begins in the vineyard and concludes with a formal, seated tasting in our Lakeview Suite, providing our guests with the unique opportunity to taste Konzelmann’s current & inaugural release vintages of our extremely rare, and limited production wines, paired with sophisticated gourmet food stylings.

Join our winemaker for an interactive blending session where you will be treated to a behind the scenes look at how winemakers taste, plan and compose the wines that eventually make it to the bottle. You will have a chance to learn how individual wine characteristics work together in a blend by creating your own assemblage!
Join our winemaker, Gavin Robertson, as he takes you on a behind-the-scenes look at the art of making sparkling wine. Explore how the use of different grape varietals and production techniques can influence the final bottle of bubbly, while Gavin guides you through the development of our sparkling program here at Niagara College.
Enjoy an exclusive tour and structured tasting experience led by our Palatine winemaking team. This intimate opportunity includes premium barrel tastings, unreleased wines, reserves, charcuterie and sparkling wine.
Join us at Peller Estates Winery for a guided tasting of our three Andrew Peller Signature Series Reds paired with premium cheese and chocolates. We’ll guide you through a structured tasting of our finest wines and explain why our best grapes come from our Four Mile Creek vineyard year after year.
Join us at The Winery Restaurant for an exclusive dining journey through the Niagara Appellations. This intimate dining experience will take place in our Private Dining Room and will feature a 5-course tasting menu prepared by Executive Chef Jason Parsons.
Participate in Canada's first and only Appassimento style Corvina barrel sampling from the 2015, 2016 and 2017 vintages. Join 2015 Grape King, Jamie Slingerland as he discusses why Niagara-On-The-Lake is one of the best regional sub-appellations to grow late ripening varietals in Canada.
Experience our spectacular current and limited edition library Reserve Cabernets from our 30+ year old vines. Learn about the Pondview story and our unique location in the Heart of the Four Mile Creek sub-appellation. If you are looking for an interactive wine tasting we are offering a Sensory Experience that is amazing! The experience starts with a vineyard tour where you learn about the winery's history and some interesting facts about wine making in Canada. You are then led to our private tank room where you are presented with a blind tasting experience to remember.
Get started on your home garden while we lay the groundwork for an exciting and prosperous 2018 for our own Ravine Kitchen and Garden Harvest. Kick off the afternoon with some sparkling wine as our gardener Laura helps you plant seedlings that will prosper in our unique Niagara microclimate. After planting, we’ll sit back, relax and enjoy a 3-course seasonally inspired menu with wine pairings created by Chef Ross Midgley.
Join us in our winemaker's loft for a flight of small lot back vintage wines from our original vineyard blocks dating back to 1977. Taste the terroir of our farm located in Niagara's 'hottest' sub-appellation!
Meet local winemaker Alyssa Bator as she describes the history and terroir of Riverview, as well as her experience growing up in Niagara-on-the-lake during the wine boom of the 90’s. Experience the distinctive wines that our Niagara River sub-appellation has to offer.
Our 55-acre vineyard is best known for its diversity. While Stratus is celebrated for classic vinifera such as Chardonnay and Cabernet Franc, it is also known for pushing boundaries related to planting less common grape varieties such as Tannat and Tempranillo. This seminar and tasting of six wines will explore the rationale, the journey, the challenges and the successes from both a viticultural and winemaking perspective.
Seats are limited for a special Structured Tasting of six back vintage red wines as we open our Wine Library for the first time. Founding Winemaker Joe Will, Winemaker Marc Bradshaw and Estate Sommelier Juan Nunez-Sanchez will lead a review of the wines. Following the formal tasting, enjoy more of your favourite library wine accompanied by hors d’oeuvres. Each participant will have the opportunity to purchase a bottle of at least one Library Wine.
Strewn’s Barrel Club program has been an important element in our winemaking for the past 20 years. During this behind-the-scenes experience led by a member of the winemaking team, you will discover the qualities American, Canadian and French oak barrels and different cooperages contribute to wines, how we use oak barrels for fermenting and/or aging wines, and the benefits of new vs. older barrels.
Settle in to the Trius Red Cellar for an exclusive guided tasting of some of our best back vintage wines with perfect bite-sized pairings of our favourite appetizers prepared by our Executive Chef, Frank Dodd. We will pull wines representing three of the best years here in Niagara from our exclusive back vintage wine collection.
Amplify your senses at this interactive dining experience! Join our winemaker, Craig McDonald at our exclusive appellations-focused Black Glass Lunch where we will look specifically at our single-vineyard wines from our premium Showcase tier.

Begin your evening in the distillery, before you head down to the Barrel Cellar where our estate mixologist and sommelier will host this exciting battle as you learn about our appellations.
