Many of the wineries around town will be celebrating in their own way as well. Inniskillin, for instance, will have four days of fun in celebration of Canada Day. Visitors will be invited to wave their flag on the piazza, turning it into a sea of red and white, as they sip on wine and enjoy some of the culinary offerings including s’mores on Canada Day, cupcakes, and pulled beef sliders. There will also be a basketball court set up amongst the vineyard, allowing people to shoot some hoops on July 1. Frisbees and a soccer area will also be set up. The winery will also feature fireworks at 9:30 on July 1, amidst the silhouette of the vineyards.
