Strewn is a certified sustainable winery, located in a renovated 1940s fruit cannery. For the past 24 years, Strewn has also been a unique and engaging wine and food destination. Our Wines:
Our winemakers craft small lot, top-tier wines that express the Niagara terroir, display varietal characteristics, and reflect vintage variation. We specialize in Bordeaux-varietal reds, full-bodied Chardonnays, fresh aromatic whites, and iconic Icewines. Strewn wines consistently win medals and commendations in International Wine Competitions, including two Gold Medals at French competitions this year.
Wine Experiences:
The winery is open from 10:30 am to 6 pm and the first wine experiences begin at 11 am. All experiences are either 30 or 45 minutes and are available at specific times. Due to COVID protocols and to allow for safe distancing, all experiences are pre-booked and pre-paid. Descriptions are explained in Wine Experiences below.
Purchase Wines Only Available at the Winery:
Choose from more than two dozen VQA wines for sale in the winery boutique and online store. These include Premium aromatic white wines, “Sparkler” Sauvignon Blanc, and Merlot, Cabernet Franc and Cabernet Sauvignon. Distinctive Small Lot wines include Meritage Canadian Oak and Cabernet Sauvignon from both the Sandy and Clay Blocks. Terroir red wines are only made from exceptional vintages including our flagship red blend Strewn Three, Terroir whites include three full-bodied Chardonnays, each made in a different type of oak barrel (French, Canadian and American).
Try a Hands-on Cooking Class:
The on-site Wine Country Cooking School runs hands-on Saturday classes between mid-January and the end of November. Participants, usually working with a partner, cook and eat a seasonal three-course meal with a wine pairing to accompany each course. Number of participants have been reduced along with other COVID compliant measures.
Stay for Lunch or Dinner:
And a visit to Strewn can also include lunch or dinner at the chef-owned and operated OLiV Restaurant, which offers tapas (small plates), shared plates and full entrees, along with a selection of Strewn wines. Open from lunch through dinner; reservations strongly recommended.

In the Heritage Room Seated Wine Experience
$20 per person Monday through Friday, $30 Saturday/Sunday
Reservations are required. Available at 11:30am, 1pm, 2:30pm and 4pm. Available for 2 to 4 guests.
The Heritage Room, is our premium indoor seated space, and plays homage to the winery's industrial and agricultural roots. This 45-minute wine experience is personalized for each guest. Includes a cheese board.
At the Terroir Bar Seated Wine Experience
$18 per person Monday through Friday, $24 Saturday/Sunday
Reservations are required. Available at 11am,11:45am,12:30pm, 1:15pm, 2:45pm, 3:30pm, 4:15pm, 5pm. Available for 1 to 4 guests.
The Terroir Bar is where we serve our top-tier bigger Bordeaux-varietal reds, full-bodied Chards and reserve aromatic whites. This 30-minute, seated wine experience is personalized for each guest
At the Main Bar Standing Wine Experience
$14 per person Monday through Friday, $18 Saturday/Sunday

The Main Bar is where we serve ready to drink Bordeaux-varietal reds, rosé, aromatic whites and Ice-Breaker dessert wines. This 30-minute, standing wine experience is personalized for each guest.
In the Vineyard
$25 per person, Friday, Saturday, Sunday and Monday until October 13
Reservations are required. Available at 11:30am and 2:30pm. Maximum 8 people per session.
This 45-minute immersive experience includes a tour through the vineyard at the winery followed by a wine tasting of four wines under the canopy in the vineyard.
On the Patio
$20 per person Monday through Friday, $30 Saturday/Sunday. Available until October 13 weather permitting
Reservations are required. Available at 12pm, 1pm, 2pm, 3pm and 4 pm.
The expansive patio on the back lawn has a view of the vineyard and the trees along the creek. This 45-minute, seated wine experience is personalized for each guest.
