ONE DAY PASS - FOUR WINERY EXPERIENCES - DECADES OF HISTORY

The Ontario government, in consultation with the Chief Medical Officer of Health and other health experts, is imposing a provincewide emergency brake shutdown as a result of an alarming surge in COVID-19 case numbers and hospitalizations across the province. 
 

Wineries of Niagara -on -the- Lake will be canceling The Dig Our Roots passport program for 2021 in accordance with the province wide shutdown. We will be refunding current passport holders fully. EVENT CANCELLED

During three weekends in April, guests will discover what makes this place and our wines so special through exclusive, safe, and pre-reserved winery experiences that have been carefully developed. This will offer guests an in-depth look at our appellation, our terroir and the passionate winemakers who have been instrumental in establishing Niagara-on-the-Lake as a premium wine region.

Mark your calendars as DIG OUR ROOTS, the annual celebration of the Niagara-on-the-Lake appellation, is set to return in 2021 on April 10, 11, 17, 18, 24, 25. Guests will purchase a ONE DAY PASS that will give guests access to reserve FOUR EXPERIENCES from our 20 partner wineries. Tastings will take place at 11:00am, 1:30pm, 2:30pm and 3:30pm. Dig Our Roots Passport experiences must be booked in advance, and COVID-19 precautions are in place at all locations. Passports at $75 each (plus taxes and service fees) 

 

Your Dig Our Roots Passport includes experiences at four (4) wineries of your choice. A limited number of spaces are available for each time slot at each winery – book early to avoid disappointment. Please see below for all our offerings.

Sauvignon Blanc Vertical Tasting 

Showcasing Fabian’s favourite varietal and signature wine- Sauvignon Blanc. We are bringing out the 2016 vintage from the library, alongside the released 2017 and 2019 vintages. All from the same appellation - Four Mile Creek. Learn more about the appellation and the different vineyard sites, the terroir, and the vineyard and winemaking methods make each wine individual.

Our winemaking team will take you through the process and history of producing skin fermented white wines - Orange wine. You will sample two varietal Orange Wines, Riesling and Pinot Grigio which only release in limited channels, and compare them to the regularly fermented Riesling and Pinot Grigio. All of the grapes are grown in our Joseph’s vineyard.

DOME SWEET DOME / Tasting flight of three terroir driven Rieslings

Join us in our brand new lakefront Vineyard Dome for a structured tasting of our signature varietal, Riesling.
