Since opening our doors fifteen years ago, we’ve been perfecting our craft at Between The Lines, driven by a passion for exploring innovative winemaking methods under the guidance of our master winemaker, Yannick Wertsch.
The result? A collection of wines that are as precise in flavour as they are appealing — whether you're new to wine or a seasoned connoisseur.
Nestled in the heart of Niagara-on-the-Lake, our family-owned winery operates out of a modern- rustic space we affectionately call the Big Red Barn. Here, we house our cellar, tasting room, and clubhouse — all in one vibrant place.

Our whites are crisp and refreshing, offering a pleasant, easy-drinking experience, while our reds are briefly barrel-aged to preserve their vibrant, fruity character. Join us at one of our tasting bars and indulge in some of the best wines produced by Between The Lines Winery. A wine educator will teach you what it takes to produce our award-winning wines like Riesling and our Lemberger Reserve. The tasting includes 4-wines per person.
Charcuterie Picnic

Our BTL craft wine and gourmet offerings are guaranteed to be the highlight of your stay in Ontario’s wine country. Your host will guide you through our incredible wine menu perfectly paired with artisan cheese and charcuterie. A Cheese and Charcuterie Board includes: • 4-wine tastings per person • 3-artisan cheeses • A selection of charcuterie meats by Smoke and Barrel Niagara • Roasted nuts and dried fruits • Selection of crackers (add a note in special instructions window for nut allergy, meat or gluten-free boards) *Reservation required
Grape to Glass Tour
$25+HST
Join us on a tour starting with the history of Between The Lines Winery, then head to the vineyards. You’ll get a crash course on the vine itself and learn what it takes to grow the grapes from dormancy to harvest because We Dig Wine Here! This guided experience is approximately 45 minutes and includes 4 samples of wine. Our visit to the vineyards is hosted outside and runs rain, shine and snow and the vines wait for no one! Please think like a farmer and wear appropriate attire in accordance with the weather conditions on the day of your reservation. *Reservation required
Decadent Tasting

Join us on a decadent journey for your taste buds! Begin with a glass of our Sparkling Eric Brut, perfectly paired with aged cheddar cheese. Follow it up with a mouth-watering bite of basque cheesecake, complemented by our Vidal Icewine. The experience concludes on a rich and chocolatey note with our sumptuous Cabernet Franc Icewine paired with a delectable brownie. *Reservation required
Black Glass Tasting

Demystify wine in this unique experience. A blind tasting in Niagara is a great way to get to know the wine in your glass. Sip through four wines with your guide and learn what each grape brings to the glass. Then you tell us what grape it is. *Reservation required
Modern Tasting

Wine done differently! Enjoy Between the Lines' exclusive can offerings. Our cans sell out every year due to their high popularity. We challenge you to taste the difference!
